| Cricket was brought to the Dominican Republic in the 1800īs by the immigrants from West Indies. It was re-introduced in the Dominican Republic in 1980īs by students from India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka as well as Americans & Canadians who hail from cricket playing nations. The current Cricket Federation comprises of several teams which are being developed & organized in different parts of the country.
